The Challenge
Enterprise treasurers were suffering from extreme cognitive load when managing multi-currency liquidity pools. The legacy system required users to navigate through nested menus and cross-reference data across three different screens just to authorize a bulk transfer. The challenge was to unify complex financial data without dumbing down the required technical parameters.
The Architecture & Solution
I conducted a deep heuristic evaluation and restructured the entire Information Architecture. I designed a customizable, modular widget dashboard where critical risk levels are indicated via semantic color coding rather than dense text. The core interaction was redesigned into a single-page "Slide-Over" panel flow, allowing users to view deep analytics and execute transfers without ever leaving the master grid context.
The Impact
The new UX architecture eliminated 4 steps from the primary user flow. The consolidated view drastically reduced error rates in multi-currency routing, elevating the first-time task success rate to 88% and completely changing the feedback loop from the internal financial team.
